Is the romaine lettuce sold whole or cut-up?

The romaine lettuce will be delivered to you in whole pieces (to the best of our ability). This gives you the option to use it whole at your seder or chop it up for a delicious salad.

How many kezaytim is each box of romaine lettuce?

A kezayit is about 1 ounce. Each box of romaine lettuce is about 10 ounces or 10 kezaytim if divided exactly equally. Practically speaking, most people will actually get 5-8 kezaytim per box as it is not usually divided so precisely.

Follow-up question: How many boxes of romaine lettuce does my family need?

Well, it all depends on how many kazaytim each person will eat at the seder. Some people eat the bare minimum while others eat a lot more than required. What we can tell you is that one romaine lettuce box from us can be used at the seder for about 6-8 kezaytim.

When is the latest I can place my order for Pesach?

Please place your Pesach orders by Sunday, April 14th to ensure your order. We will do our best to accommodate orders placed after April 14th, but we cannot guarantee it.

When is the earliest I can get my Pesach produce delivered?

The earliest we can deliver our Kosher for Pesach produce is on Friday, April 19th. Please call to find out about pickup options earlier.

When will the last delivery of the regular 'Chametz' Calikale salads be?

Sunday, April 14th. After that, everything will be Kosher for Pesach.

Will you have Kosher for Pesach salads this year?

Unfortunately, we won't be offering kosher for pesach salads this year.

What is the Subscribe & Save option on your website?

We are excited to announce a new option on our website where you'll enjoy 5% on weekly CaliKale auto-deliveries. This option will be disabled for Pesach but will be available for you right after. Come on back and save with us.

Will you be taking orders and delivering again on Chol Hamoed Pesach and for 2nd days Pesach?

Unfortunately not this year. The way the holiday falls out, we don't have enough time to prepare for that. The only delivery date for Calikale products for Pesach will be on Friday, April 19th.
